Data Security: For virtual sessions, we use secure platforms to protect your personal information and ensure your privacy.
3. Appointments
Booking: Appointments can be booked via phone, email, or our online booking system. Our team will assist you in scheduling a convenient time for your sessions.
Session Duration: Counseling sessions typically last 50 minutes unless otherwise specified. Longer sessions may be arranged based on your needs.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellation Policy: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee.
Emergency Cancellations: We understand that emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel due to an emergency.
5. Fees and Payment
Payment Terms: Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept various payment methods, including credit card, debit card, and e-transfer.
Insurance Reimbursement: We provide detailed receipts with our social worker’s registered number for insurance reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm coverage.
6. Virtual Sessions
Technology Requirements: Clients participating in virtual sessions are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary technology and internet connection.
Technical Issues: In the event of technical issues, please contact us to reschedule or arrange for a phone session as needed.
7. Responsibilities of Clients
Participation: Active participation in sessions is crucial for effective therapy. Clients are encouraged to engage openly and honestly in the therapeutic process.
Feedback: We value your feedback. Please share any concerns or suggestions with your therapist to enhance your experience.
8. Termination of Services
Mutual Agreement: Either party may terminate the therapeutic relationship at any time. It is recommended to discuss termination with your therapist to ensure a smooth transition.
Referral: If we determine that our services are not the best fit for your needs, we may provide referrals to other professionals or services.
9. Limitations of Liability
Professional Services: While we strive to provide high-quality services, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. The therapeutic process involves collaboration and commitment from both parties.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold Clear Water Integrated Health and its staff harmless from any claims or damages arising from your use of our services.
